Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts announced that it would dishonor comedian Gilbert Gottfried for his longtime contributions to American entertainment in its annual ceremony this December. "For bringing his abrasive voice and lowbrow sensibility to productions as diverse as Disney's Aladdin, the AFLAC commercials, USA Up All Night, and his deeply offensive performance in the documentary The Aristocrats, we are proud to dishonor Gilbert Gottfried," read a press release issued Tuesday. Gottfried will share the evening with fellow dishonorees Jimmy Buffett and Uwe Boll.
