INDIANAPOLIS—Jim Davis, creator of Garfield, the popular comic strip featuring a thoughtful but feckless cat, met with the guy who does Heathcliff Thursday for their annual luncheon to discuss the cat-cartooning process. "It was really good to see the guy who does Heathcliff. He looks the same as he did last year," Davis said. "He's one of the only people I can really talk to about doing cat cartoons." The guy who does Heathcliff was not asked to comment.
