On Congress Insisting On Being Involved In Sports Investigations:

  • At least it's not as meddlesome as when Sen. Tom Harkin (D-IA) hit 28 home runs and got 124 RBI in 1998.


  • I've never seen Americans jump up and down while screaming after hearing news about Iraq or the education crisis, so I guess sports are important to this country.


  • I think only the Senate should get involved. The House should investigate unfair movie and album reviews."
