Thu, Oct 20, 9:00 amI've left the television off for the past few days so I could get some mellow "me time" around the house. Even the Scoop needs to relax with a good book once in a while. Hey, I'm not some braindead zombie! I love to read. Along with movies and television, books help make a well-rounded human being. I just finished Good-Bye, Mr. Chips, a book that almost inspired me to be a teacher at an English boarding school when I was young. I'm reading Chicken Soup for the Latino Soul right now. I'm not Latino, or even Latino American (I'm kind of a Heinz 57, mostly Dutch and German, a bit of Scottish in there too). I just like learning about other cultures, and this fantastic addition to the Chicken Soup for the Soul series is a great way to do so. Once I finish this, though, I'm diving headfirst back into the world of Hollywood!
