Patients Making Record Number Of Telehealth ‘E-Visits’ With Doctors

A report from consulting firm Deloitte predicted that by the end of 2014, Americans will make a record 75 million telehealth appointments, or “e-visits,” with their doctors by video chatting with physicians or emailing them pictures of their ailments in order to receive a virtual diagnosis.
