Report: American Households Throw Away $640 Worth Of Food Each Year

According to a new survey, the average American household throws away about $640 worth of food every year, though most people don’t consider the environmental impact of food waste and are instead concerned with the embarrassment of cooking too much food and throwing a lot of it out.
