Texas Votes Against Experts Fact-Checking Textbooks

The Texas school board has voted against allowing academic experts to fact-check their textbooks, instead instituting a rule that any textbook review panels must be composed of a majority of people with “sufficient content expertise and experience” to audit the materials. What do you think?
